An image shared on X claims that a Fox News poll found that 89% of veterans supported Democratic nominee Vice President Kamala Harris over Republican nominee and former President Donald Trump.

Verdict: False

This image is fake, according to a Fox News spokesperson. There is no evidence Fox News published such a poll.

Fact Check:

Social media users have been sharing an image claiming it shows a Fox News poll that was taken between August 26 and August 28. The poll allegedly found that 89% of veterans support Harris over Trump.

There is no evidence for this claim. The poll that was cited in the image is real. However, it does not show that 89% of veterans support Harris over Trump. It does not show any polling of veterans.

A Fox News spokesperson told Check Your Fact that the image “is fake and was never reported by FOX News.” (RELATED: Did Kamala Harris Back Out Of A Debate Scheduled For Sept. 4?)

Check Your Fact also reviewed Fox News’s website and did not find any reporting matching the alleged poll in the X image. A wider internet search also did not yield any results for this claim.

The actual poll shows Harris with a slight lead over Trump in the Sun Belt states, according to Politico. This lead was within the margin of error, with the Trump campaign criticizing the polling, the outlet reported.
