Boasberg did not lift a restraining order prohibiting President Donald Trump’s administration from using the Alien Enemies Act of 1798 to deport Venezuelan migrants, according to The Hill. Boasberg said Trump’s administration is still free to deport migrants “through other immigration authorities,” the outlet reported.

The Facebook post claims Barron purportedly overruled Boasberg’s decision on halting deportation flights.

“Take that! [Tenth] Circuit Court of Appeals Judge Joseph Barron overruled Judge Boasberg’s decision. The flights will continue,” the post, which does not provide a source to support its claim, reads.

The claim is false and originally stems from a March 21 post shared by “America’s Last Line of Defense,” which is a satirical Facebook page. The Facebook page describes itself as “the flagship of the ALLOD network of trollery and propaganda for cash” before reiterating “nothing on this page is real.” The original post has received over 2,000 likes as of writing.

In addition, Trump does not appear to have publicly commented on the claim via his personal or government X accounts, his TRUTH Social account, or his verified social media accounts. Check Your Fact did not find any credible news reports to support the claim, either.
