A post shared on X claims Harvard University stated it was providing free tuition for Jewish families making less than $200,000.

Verdict: False

Harvard announced there would be free tuition for all students with families that have annual incomes of $200,000 or less.

Fact Check:

Social media users are claiming that Harvard announced it was providing free tuition for Jewish students with families making less than $200,000. One user wrote, “🚨BREAKING🚨 Harvard announces that tuition for the 25-26 academic school year will be free for students from jewish families with annual incomes of $200k or less. THIS IS WHAT I VOTED FOR!”

This claim is false. Harvard announced there would be free tuition for all students with families that have annual incomes of $200,000 or less. It did not state this was limited to Jews.

ABC News did not report that it was for Jews only. The actual tweet shows that it was for all students, not just Jews. (RELATED: Claim That Pam Bondi Has Petitioned The Courts To Vacate Anthony Fauci’s Pardon Is Satire)

“NEW: Harvard University on Monday announced that tuition will be free for students from families with annual incomes of $200,000 or less starting in the 2025-26 academic year,” the outlet tweeted.
