Pennsylvania Senate candidate Republican Dave McCormick has filed an appeal to the Bucks County Board of Elections and named it in a suit along with three city commissioners, Local News 8 WGAL reported. The appeal questions the decision to count ballots that were undated or misdated and states that it is “legally erroneous” because the ballots are “invalid,” according to the outlet.

A post shared on Threads claims that the overall count showed that more people voted for other candidates than voted for Trump. The post received more than nine thousand likes and over nine hundred comments.

The caption reads, “It’s now official — in the 2024 election, more people voted against Donald Trump than voted for him.”

The claim is inaccurate. AP News reported Trump received 76,537,939 votes, or 50% of votes. Vice President Kamala Harris received 73,922,974 or 48.3% of votes. NBC News reported 2,780,024 or 1.7% votes were cast for “other.”
