Satirical website Esspots published a story titled “Guy Fieri to Open ‘Woke-Free’ Coffee Shops in Red States, Going Head-to-Head with Starbucks.”

The satire reads, “Guy Fieri, the spiky-haired chef and self-proclaimed ‘Mayor of Flavortown,’ is now brewing up a new venture, one with a distinctly patriotic flavor: ‘Patriot Brew,’ a line of ‘woke-free’ coffee shops set to open exclusively in red states. Promising ‘no lectures, no politics, just coffee,’ Patriot Brew will go head-to-head with Starbucks in cities across Texas, Tennessee, and Florida, bringing customers a caffeine fix that’s as bold and outspoken as Fieri himself.”

A disclaimer at the bottom of the satire reads, “NOTE: This is SATIRE, It’s Not True.” A disclaimer available on the Esspots website reads, “Welcome to the US page of Esspots (A Subsidiary of SpaceXMania.com specializing in Satire and Parody News), your one-stop destination for satirical news and commentary about the United States of America.”

Esspots told Check Your Fact “the respective post originated as Satire but it was stolen and posted without the disclaimers.”
