A video shared on X claims to show the consequences of “mass immigration” in Bradford, United Kingdom.

Verdict: False

The video is from Pakistan, not the U.K.

Fact Check:

Social media users are sharing a video of mostly women in burqas in what appears to be a market, claiming it shows the British city of Bradford. One user wrote, “The British city of Bradford is completely unrecognizable due to mass immigration. The picture is the same in many other European cities. Mass immigration is absolutely one of the greatest crimes against European people and civilization.”

This claim is false. Through a reverse image search, Check Your Fact found that the video does not show Bradford but rather Pakistan. A longer version of the video was posted on YouTube with the title, “WALKING TOUR OF HYDERABAD PAKISTAN, WALKING THROUGH SHAHI BAZAR, RESHAM BAZAR, CITY WALK, 4K60FPS.”

“[T]his colorful market is one of the main attractions of the city. The Shahi Bazar is considered one of the longest bazars in Asia. It starts from Pakka Fort and ends at Market Tower (Naval Rai Clock Tower). It’s about 2km long. Here you can find some of Hyderabad’s oldest bazaars selling arts, crafts, embroidery and jewelry of Sindhi heritage. It’s around 400 years old bazar,” reads the video description.

Check Your Fact geolocated the video to the Shani Bazar. One of the stores in the video is called Jaipur Jewellers, which is located at the Shani Bazar.

The video was also debunked by India Today. (RELATED: No, Time Magazine Didn’t Compare Justin Trudeau To Hitler)
